Accessibility Micro Courses On-Demand

The update to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II takes effect in less than 60 days, on April 24! The Chancellor’s Office and our own Universal Design Center offer a variety of resources to help you reach your accessibility goals.

The growing partnership between the accessibility teams at the CSUs and the California community colleges means CSU faculty and staff now have access to the CCC’s library of self-paced micro-courses about accessibility.

From the conceptual (“Beginner’s Guide to Accessibility Process Design”) to hands-on specifics (“Creating Accessible Links” or “Tables and Accessibility”), this library contains short courses to answer frequent accessibility questions. Most courses offer a badge too.

The micro-courses align with the Universal Design Center (UDC)’s goal to offer accessibility training in a variety of modalities as well as topics. The Spring 2026 accessibility series of live workshops is underway, with new offerings like 3-Step PDF Accessibility for Faculty

Faculty and staff have access to recordings of past workshops as well as the slides and other resources through our Training Videos and Resources page.

Longer on-demand Canvas courses are available from our Accessibility Canvas Courses page. The UDC website contains guidance on a range of topics, and offers customized department trainings and individual consultations.
