Description: CSUN has a new pair of software tools that will improve the accessibility of many PDFs: the CSU PDF Accessibility Remediation tool and the Canvas Course Accessibility Report. This workshop will walk you through a three-step approach using these tools plus your subject matter expertise to rapidly make your course materials more accessible. We’ll start with a quick introduction to accessibility for PDFs, make sure you are comfortable using both tools, and demonstrate the important role you play (step 2). We’ll conclude by reviewing campus resources for additional support with PDFs.
