Nazarian College Joins PRME

Nazarian College is now a Signatory Member of the Principles for Responsible Management Education, a United Nations-supported global network of more than 850 business schools advancing sustainability, ethical leadership and responsible management education.

PRME aligns business education with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and encourages institutions to integrate sustainability and ethical decision-making across teaching, research and community engagement.

Chandra Subramaniam, dean of Nazarian College, says becoming a Signatory Member builds on the college’s existing work in these areas.

“Our college is deeply embedded in the diverse community of the San Fernando Valley and committed to gender equity and first-generation student success,” says Subramaniam. “Many of these priorities align closely with PRME’s Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals. By connecting with our global peers and leveraging the many resources of PRME, we can further strengthen our current programs and initiatives.”

Subramaniam adds that joining PRME reflects the college’s commitment to prepare students to lead with integrity, purpose and an understanding of the broader impact of business decisions.
