C-STE Speaker Series: Health, Gaming and Digital Finance
The Center for Social and Technology Entrepreneurship recently hosted a three-part virtual speaker series exploring emerging opportunities across industries—from wellness to gaming to digital finance.
Each session drew an engaged audience of students, alumni, faculty and staff with lively Q&A discussions closing out every event.
The series featured:
- Building in Health & Beauty with Katrina De Angelis, founder of MILO Human Care; and Emily Serebryany, angel investor, HealthTech Capital
- The Business of Gaming with Arman Aivazian, principal brand manager, Riot Games, and Tim Greenfield, director, business development US, Appcharge
- Bitcoin and Digital Assets with Alula Zeryihun, Edge Consulting Labs, Cristina Perez, Mindful Millions Management, Win Ko Ko Aung, Human Rights Foundation, and Santiago Cuevas, Wave Digital Assets
The final session, Bitcoin and Digital Assets, drew the largest turnout and centered on how blockchain and cryptocurrency are reshaping entrepreneurship and finance. One of the panelists described the potential of decentralized systems to drive innovation: “Bitcoin is no longer just a speculative asset—it’s an infrastructure for new kinds of economic systems.”
Entrepreneurship Program Director Ryan Holbrook guided the conversation toward practical applications, helping students understand both the promise and the complexity of digital assets.
Organized by C-STE, the series reflects the college’s commitment to preparing future entrepreneurs for a rapidly evolving economy.
