CEO Magazine Ranks Nazarian College MBA Program in Tier One of Global MBA Rankings

NORTHRIDGE, California—CEO Magazine has ranked the MBA program at the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics in Tier One of its 2025 Global MBA rankings, which is the publication’s highest-ranking category for MBA programs.

Chandra Subramaniam, dean of the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, says being recognized once again as a Tier 1 MBA program by CEO Magazine is a proud achievement for the school.

“This recognition reflects the quality of our faculty, the strength of our program and the success of our students,” says Subramaniam. “With a flexible schedule and a curriculum designed for real-world application and hands-on learning opportunities, our program prepares students to thrive in their careers and make a lasting impact in their industries.”

CEO Magazine uses a ranking system geared and weighted toward fact-based criteria, providing potential students with a performance benchmark for those schools under review. It gave the most weight to the quality of faculty, followed by international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty-to-student ratio, price, international exposure, work experience and professional development.

Participation is up 10 percent this year as CEO Magazine ranked 153 schools, offering 309 different programs in 24 countries.

Nazarian College’s MBA program is AACSB accredited, a distinction given to only 6 percent of the world’s leading business schools. The school’s MBA curriculum is flexible for a work-life balance. Its interdisciplinary curriculum features hands-on experience learning and culminates with a small business consulting experience, allowing students to bridge program skills for helping community businesses.

CEO Magazine’s showcasing of top business schools from around the globe first launched in 2008. The publication launched its annual Global MBA Rankings in 2012, profiling MBA, Executive MBA and online MBA programs.

“This recognition reflects the quality of our faculty, the strength of our program and the success of our students,” says Dean Subramaniam.
