CSUN Student Ever Huerta Named 2026-27 Newman Civic Fellow
CSUN history major Ever Huerta has been named to the 2026–27 cohort of Newman Civic Fellows by Campus Compact, recognizing his dedication to civic engagement and public service. A longtime Burbank community leader, Huerta has championed youth participation, inclusion and education. At CSUN, he serves as MEChA vice president and mentors first-generation, low-income students through TRIO and Upward Bound. The year-long fellowship provides leadership development, networking, grants and other opportunities.
