Amy Hanreddy Receives $2.1 BRIDGE California Grant to Expand Inclusive College Programs
Dr. Amy Hanreddy received $2.1 Million for the BRIDGE California grant from the federal Office of Postsecondary Education. This project creates a consortium with San Francisco State University to expand inclusive college programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities across the CSU system. At CSUN, this grant will provide staffing and resources for expansion and sustainability of the CSUN Explorers program, which creates a pathway for students with intellectual disabilities to take classes at CSUN as they work towards individualized academic, social, and employment goals. Dr. Hanreddy also received $75,000 from the California Center for Inclusive College for the CSUN Explorers. This grant will emphasize peer mentors as well as training for faculty across campus who host CSUN Explorers in their classes.
