Kate Carone Publishes in California English

Kate Carone, a CSUN student in Elementary Education’s Language & Literacy M.A. program submitted an original article that was accepted in the journal California English, the publication of the California Association for Teachers of English. Kate’s article was titled MEETING THE CHALLENGES OF EXPANDING READERS’ THINKING  and was part of an assignment for her class EED 668 Foundations of Literacy Theory class. The article focuses on using literacy as a tool for social justice to expand readers’ thinking. Congratulations, Kate!
