Cynthia Desrochers Publishes on Faculty Learning Communities and Peer Coaching
Cynthia Desrochers (professor emerita, Elementary Education) shares that with her co-authors/editors, she has a newly published trilogy on faculty learning communities (FLCs) in higher education. FLCs are a faculty development model that aids in the implementation of teaching and learning goals. Combined, these three FLC volumes contain a total of 63 chapters, focusing on FLCs that 1) transform higher education, 2) work towards a more equitable, just, and antiracist future, and 3) expand opportunities for faculty to engage each other in learning, teaching, and support. Currently, they have published seven books in their series on Transforming Teaching and Learning in Higher Education with Information Age Publishing.
