During your career, you may move between California public retirement systems and wonder how they work together toward your retirement benefits. In this video, you’ll learn about reciprocity and potential advantages of establishing a reciprocal relationship between retirement systems. CalPERS’ reciprocal agreement with other public retirement systems may allow you to coordinate certain benefits between systems when you retire, helping you preserve valuable retirement advantages along the way.
