The Department of Criminology and Justice Studies is hosting a Research in Justice Studies event, featuring Dr. Brianne Posey.

Join us in learning about how research and the criminology and the justice system converge by analyzing police response to protests from 2020 to 2021.

Topics addressed in the presentation will focus on:

  • Research in Justice Studies and the importance in understanding differences in how police responded to protests between 2020 and 2021
  • Opportunities for students to get involved in research in criminology and justice studies
  • how to identify potential research mentors
