Students present their research at Pacifichem in Hawaii

Graduate students Connor Blair and Bethanie Curiel (Andersen lab) traveled to Hawaii in December to attend the 2025 Pacifichem symposium. They presented posters of their work; Bethanie’s poster title was “Atmospheric Chemistry of CF₃ClC=CH₂ (HCFO-1233xf)”, and Connor presented two posters on separate days, titled “Atmospheric Chemistry of (E)- and (Z)-CF3CF2CH=CHCF2CF3 (HFO-153-10mczz): Kinetics and Mechanisms of the Reactions with Cl Atoms, OH Radicals, and O3” and “Vacuum UV (172 nm) photolysis and photochemical destruction of common atmospheric pollutants: Can it work?”
