Chemistry and Biochemistry students participate at CSUNposium and win awards
Numerous undergraduate and graduate research students from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry participated in CSUNposium this year. Helia Yaleh (Boulesbaa lab) and Alex Arevalo and Araz Arabian (Kelson lab) won first and second place honors, respectively, in their 10-minute undergraduate presentation session. Graduate student Wiraya Poungparam (Teprovich lab) was awarded first place in her 10-minute presentation competition, and Bethany Curiel (Andresen lab) achieved a first place award in her graduate poster presentation category. Numerous other graduate and undergraduate students also presented – their work was also very well received by attendees. Congratulations to all!
