Collaborative work from the Andersen lab has been published

Dr. Andersen, in collaboration with Dr. Ole John Nielsen in Denmark, has published his latest research, titled “Investigation of a possible atmospheric degradation product from HFO-1336mz (CF3CH═CHCF3) using photolysis of CF3CH(OH)CH2Br” in the Journal Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics. One recent challenge for atmospheric chemists is quantifying the trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) yield from the atmospheric degradation of commercially used hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs). In this publication Drs. Andersen and Nielsen present a new method to produce and investigate one of the degradation products of HFO1336mz.
