Biochemistry student earns honorable mention for poster at ASBMB meeting

B.S. Biochemistry major Dulce Hernandez won an Honorable Mention in the category of  ‘Microbiology, Membranes, and Glycans’ in the undergraduate poster competition at the annual ASBMB (American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) meeting in Seattle. Her poster, titled, “Quantification of functional antibody titers in a mouse model of SARS-CoV-2 infection” was based on work she did during her internship at the University of Washington in summer 2022, as part of CSUN’s BUILD PODER program.
