CSUN Health Sciences MHA Team Secures 2nd Place at 2026 Statewide ACHE College Bowl

California State University, Northridge is incredibly proud to announce the outstanding achievement of its Master of Health Administration (MHA) students, who took second place at the 2026 American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) California Statewide College Bowl. This impressive achievement is the culmination of months of rigorous preparation, critical analysis, and dedicated teamwork. Guided by the mentorship of their faculty advisor, Dr. Stephan Chung, the five talented members of the competition team demonstrated the high-level healthcare leadership skills and analytical precision cultivated within the CSUN MHA program. Competing against top-tier graduate programs from across California at the UCI Medical Center, the team tackled a complex case study, showcasing their ability to synthesize strategic and operational considerations into high-impact solutions. Their performance earned them a $2,000 prize and resonated strongly with the panel of expert healthcare executive judges. The department extends its congratulations and immense pride to the team members—Griffin Davis, Abdullah Nasir, Lesly Garcia Rodriguez, Ruqaiyah Chennault, and Kristain Brown—for their exceptional work. This victory not only marks a significant milestone for these future leaders but also reinforces CSUN’s reputation for academic excellence in health administration.
