CSUN Giving Day Success Stories
On CSUN Giving Day, March 5 & 6 2025, the University raised $575,493 thanks to 2,626 donors!
We are thankful to every donor to our departments, programs, and projects in the College of Health and Human Development, at whatever level – it all adds up and we appreciate every penny.
Special thanks go out to Ruth Harris for establishing the Communication Disorders and Sciences Challenge with her gift of $5,000. Harris served as Coordinator of the CSUN Language, Speech and Hearing Center in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences from 1977-2003. She was also the Director of the Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers in the department since in 1987. In 2006, Harris retired but continues as a dynamic volunteer, dedicated to keeping academic, professional and community networks strong.
