Trace and Denise join the Academic Technology Team

Trace Rosser

A graduate of CSUN’s Cinema and Television Arts program, Trace Rosser previously served as an Instructional Media Technician at Los Angeles Valley College and worked as a Studio Operator for ESPN. He brings experience in instructional technology, media production, and live broadcast operations.

In his current role, Trace supports faculty with lecture capture, Panopto, classroom media technologies, and digital learning tools. He is passionate about helping faculty use technology to create engaging learning experiences and improve student success.

His interests include video production, accessibility, artificial intelligence, and emerging educational technologies. As a CSUN alumni, Trace is excited to return to the university and collaborate with instructors across campus in support of innovative teaching and learning.

Denise Casanave

Denise Casanave joins the Universal Design Center with over 25 years of service at CSUN. She began her career in Cash Services in 2000 and advanced to the Purchasing Department in 2015 as the PCard Administrator/Office Manager. In 2023, she was promoted to Buyer II, where she further developed her expertise in procurement and contract administration.

Most recently, Denise joined the University Digital Compliance (UDC) team as an Accessibility Compliance Analyst, where she brings her extensive purchasing experience and strong understanding of university operations to support digital accessibility initiatives and ensure compliance with accessibility standards across campus.

Denise earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from CSUN in 2015 and continues to demonstrate a commitment to learning, professional growth, and serving the university community.

We are very excited to have Trace and Denise as part of the Academic Technology team.
