SUSAN CHAN
Susan Chan is an internationally acclaimed pianist, educator, and artistic director whose performances have captivated audiences across four continents. Praised for her technical mastery, expressive artistry, and commitment to expanding the piano repertoire, she has appeared at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields in London, and Hong Kong City Hall. A passionate advocate for music by contemporary, female, and Asian composers, Chan has earned numerous awards and critical acclaim for her recordings and performances. She currently serves as Professor of Piano and Piano Area Coordinator at Portland State University, where she combines her distinguished performing career with a deep commitment to teaching and mentorship.
