CSUN Music Department is pleased to have Jeongwon Ham join us for an eclectic program of Beethoven, Ravel, Kreisler/Rachmaninoff, Wild/Gershwin and Chopin.

Dr. Jeongwon Ham is the Frieda Derdeyn Bambas Professor of Piano in Music at the University of Oklahoma. She has received many teaching and performance awards and recognitions, including the Regent’s Award for Superior Teaching.

Program to include:

15 Variations and a Fugue in E-flat Major, Op.35 - Ludwig van Beethoven
Ondine from “Gaspard de la Nuit” – Maurice Ravel
Liebesleid (Love’s Sorrow) – Fritz Kreisler (transcribed by Rachmaninoff)
Virtuoso Etude No. 4 – Earl Wild (based on “Embraceable You” by George Gershwin)
Sonata No.3 in B minor, Op.58 - Frédéric Chopin
