The CSUN Symphony and the Department of Music present the “Student Soloists Showcase” on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:30 p.m. in Plaza del Sol. This exciting program will feature eight winners from the annual music department concerto/aria competition as they perform some of the great concerto and aria repertoire of the past alongside the CSUN Symphony. Featured on the program will be singers Leilah Telon, Colin Schmaltz and Kelvin Li and instrumentalists Alizah Chao, Esther Myers, Dea Berberi, Serena Reinhart and Rin Hiruma. The concert will include works by Shostakovich, Barber, Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, Arutiunian and Weill.
