Ready to take control of your money and your future? Join us for a practical and engaging three-part Zoom workshop series that makes financial literacy easy to understand and useful in everyday life. Sponsored by the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, the series features Attorney, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Business Executive Bruce Bolkin—here to share real-world advice and answer the questions you didn’t even know you had. Each workshop will cover a different topic, so you’re welcome to attend just one or join us for all three.
We’ll dive into the essentials every student should know, including:
- How to budget and avoid common money traps
- The good, the bad, and the ugly of debt
- Building wealth through smart investing
- Making confident choices about insurance
- How to resolve disputes and understand basic legal concepts

About Our Speaker
Bruce Bolkin has over 30 years of experience in business leadership, litigation, and accounting. He has worked as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a partner at a Los Angeles Law firm handling complex business litigation, and a corporate executive. Bolkin earned his degree from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and his law degree from New York University School of Law.
