Nazarian College Explores the Future of Work and AI at Nov. 19 Symposium

Building on the success of last year’s Workforce of the Future symposium, the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics will once again bring together global innovators and pioneering business leaders on Nov. 19 at the Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts.

Last year’s event featured a keynote by Jesús Mantas, former global managing partner at IBM Consulting, and a panel of AI experts from the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation, SAP and Weights & Biases. Moderated by Nazarian College’s Robert Sheridan, the panel offered students advice on engaging with AI, building critical thinking skills and balancing creativity with emerging technology.

This year’s program is expected to explore how advances in artificial intelligence, including emerging “agentic AI” skills, are transforming the future of work and reshaping the skill sets business leaders need.

Details on this year’s speakers and program—and how to register for the event—will be featured on the Nazarian College website in the coming weeks.
