The Painted Brain Project

When: Thursday, October 9, 10 am – 4 pm

Where: University Bookstore Lawn

In celebration of World Mental Health Day, The Painted Brain Project asks, “What is your mental health moment?” Join us on the lawn in front of the Campus Bookstore to make art that will become part of the growing online quilt to honor our lived mental health experience. The virtual quilt will be housed on the Disability Studies homepage. Join us!

Snacks and art supplies provided! While you’re there, learn more about Disability Studies, Painted Brain, and University Counseling Services.

The Painted Brain Project is an alliance between the minor in Disability Studies and Painted Brain, an organization dedicated to using arts, advocacy, and enterprise through community-based solutions, to address mental health challenges and social injustice.
