2025 Tech Fest Connects Students with Industry Leaders
The College of Engineering and Computer Science with CSUN’s Career Center hosted its annual Tech Fest on February 14th, bringing together more than 20 companies and hundreds of eager students in the Northridge Center here at CSUN.
This networking event created a hub of meaningful conversations between industry representatives and CSUN’s engineering and computer science students. Participating companies spanned diverse sectors including aerospace, software development, civil engineering, defense, energy, and manufacturing; giving students insight into various professional pathways that they can take as they continue their programs.

A highlight of this year’s Tech Fest included a couple of presentations from ITT Inc. and XYPRO. ITT Inc., a manufacturer of engineered components serving industries like transportation, energy, aerospace and defense, showcased their overall company structure and what possible internship opportunities could be available to students. Similarly, XYPRO, an honored security software and solutions provider, engaged with students about career paths in cybersecurity and their branches of work.

The College extends a special thanks to all participating companies for their engagement with our student community, along with the Career Center for helping organize this yearly event. Students navigated the event seamlessly, with many leaving with fantastic connections and potential job/internship opportunities, alongside a clearer vision of their professional futures. We look forward to next year’s Tech Fest, where we hope to continue build connections with our fantastic students and the industry.
