LGBTQ+ Liberatory Stories

Note: The submission period for participation has ended. Thank you for your interest! What follows is the original post.

We invite you to participate in a community engagement project where you can draft and share personal stories of Queer liberation, pride, resilience, hope, and/or resistance. Find and share your story in a supportive and affirming environment.

Why Participate?

  • Reflect on and create your personal liberatory story
  • Contribute to research on LGBTQ+ experiences
  • Connect with and inspire hope in others in the queer community
  • Amplify LGBTQ+ voices and stories

Who Can Participate?

  • You must be a CSUN student
  • You must identify as LGBTQ+

How It Works:

  • Graduate students, supervised by Dr. Deborah Buttitta, will collaborate with you to develop your liberatory story
  • You will share your story with your story collaborators and debrief about the experience
