Weekend Classes Begin, Fall 2026

Most fall semesters typically begin with weekend classes first, before weekday classes. Fall 2026 is no exception.

Be sure to attend your first class meeting!

Class Start Dates

• Friday-only and Friday-Saturday classes began Aug. 22.
• Saturday-only classes start Aug. 22.
• Sunday-only classes start Aug. 23.
• Weekday classes begin Monday, Aug. 24.

You can check your first and last class meeting dates in Class Search and in the CSUN Portal under the top Academics tab.

Wait-listing for closed classes ends Sunday, Aug. 30, at 11:59 p.m. on the Labor Day holiday.
