Registration-by-Appointment, Summer 2026

Beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2026, CSUN students who “grabbed” an enrollment appointment last week may enroll in summer 2026 classes on and after their appointment date and time.

Summer Term 2026 Registration Periods:

• From March 17 to 31, 2026, eligible* new and continuing CSUN students who obtained an appointment last week may enroll in classes for all three summer sessions beginning with their enrollment appointment and after.
• Nonrestrictive Registration begins Wednesday, April 1; no appointment is needed. Repeating courses is permitted.
• Visiting, non-matriculated* students may also enroll beginning April 1.

Noteworthy:

• Summer term is currently operated on a state-support basis. If you are a CSUN student, visit the Student Finance website for Summer 2026 State Tuition and Fees, along with payment due dates (forthcoming).
• If you are enrolling in a state-supported, year-round cohort program, you will need a permission number to add classes at all times. Contact your program coordinator.
• Visitors, you’ll find self-support (extension) course fees, payment due dates and enrollment instructions at Tseng College Open University. If you do not meet course prerequisites, request a permission number from the professor or the department offering the course.

*Eligible CSUN students have been matriculated; that is, they are admitted to the university and enrolled in a CSUN degree or certificate program. Visiting students are not matriculated.
