Late Registration, Summer 2026, Sessions 1 & 2

Tuesday, May 26, 2026, is the first day of Summer Sessions 1 and 2 classes. When classes begin for a session, late registration and schedule adjustment also begin.

Late Registration, Summer Sessions 1 and 2

Manage time with the following dates. Please note that adding with permission and wait-listing in summer are now more like the fall and spring semesters.

Add Classes:

• Add classes online without a permission number through Sunday, May 31, 2026. (Year-round cohort courses always require permission to add.)
• Add only with a permission number from the instructor beginning Monday, June 1.
• The last day to add with permission is:
  —Session 2: Friday, June 19
  —Session 1: Friday, July 31

Wait-List for Closed Classes:

• Wait-listing begins with your summer enrollment appointment or the start of Nonrestrictive Registration on April 1, whichever comes first.
• Wait-listing for Sessions 1 and 2 classes ends Sunday, May 31, 11:59 p.m.

Drop Classes Online:

• The last day to drop Session 1 or 2 classes online is Friday, June 5.
• Formal approval is required to drop one or more classes beginning June 6.

Last Day of Classes:

• The last day of formal instruction depends on the session:
  —Session 2: Tuesday, July 7
  —Session 1: Tuesday, Aug. 18
• Final exams in summer are typically scheduled for the last class meeting. Please check with your professor.
