Late Registration, Summer 2026, Session 3

Wednesday, July 8, 2026, is the first day of Summer Session 3 classes. When classes begin for a session, late registration and schedule adjustment also begin.

Late Registration, Summer Session 3

Manage time with the following dates. Please note that adding with permission and wait-listing in summer term are now more like the fall and spring semesters.

Add Classes:

• Add classes online without a permission number through Sunday, July 12, 2026. (Year-round cohort courses always require permission to add.)
• Add only with a permission number from the instructor beginning Monday, July 13.
• The last day to add a Session 3 class with permission is Friday, July 31.

Wait-List for Closed Classes:

• Wait-listing begins with your summer enrollment appointment or the start of Nonrestrictive Registration on April 1, whichever comes first.
• Wait-listing for Session 3 classes ends Sunday, July 12, 11:59 p.m.

Drop Classes Online:

• The last day to drop one or more Session 3 classes online is Friday, July 17.
• Formal approval is required to drop one or more classes beginning July 18.

Last Day of Instruction:

• The last day of formal instruction for Session 3 and the last day of Summer Term 2026 is Tuesday, Aug. 18.
• Final exams in summer are typically scheduled for the last class meeting. Please check with your professor.
