Last Day to Drop, Undergraduates, Fall 2025

Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, is the last day for undergraduate and second bachelor’s degree students to drop classes online using self-service registration. Finalizing your schedule no later than 11:59 p.m. today will make life easier!

Note: If you are a graduate student, Sept. 12 was the last day to drop classes online. Please refer to Last Day to Drop, Graduate Students, Fall 2025.

Noteworthy:

• Sept. 21, 2025, is the end of the fourth week of instruction and the last day for undergraduate and second bachelor’s students to drop classes or change the basis of grading online.
• Recorded enrollments are considered official on the 20th day of instruction (i.e., Census) on Monday, Sept. 22.

After the Fourth Week of Instruction:

• To drop one or more classes, completely withdraw, or change the basis of grading after Sept. 21, formal approval is required. Please complete the appropriate late schedule change form(s).*
• To add classes, request a permission number from your professor and enroll using online, self-service registration.

*If approval to drop after Sept. 21, 2025 is granted, a grade of “W”: authorized withdrawal will be assigned.

Important Fee Payment Information:

• If you drop all classes (completely withdraw) before the 60% point of instruction, you might be eligible for a prorated refund.
• If you add classes after Sept. 21, you may owe additional tuition and other fees. Be sure to check your student account balance in the CSUN Portal.
