Last Day to Drop, Graduate Students, Fall 2025

New Deadline for Graduate Students to Drop
Sept. 12, 2025, the third Friday of fall 2025 instruction, is the last day for graduate students to drop classes online using self-service registration.
Beginning with the fall 2025 semester:
- Graduate students can drop classes online through the third Friday of classes.
- Undergraduate and second bachelor’s degree students continue to have until the end of the fourth week of classes to drop online.
Fall 2025 Details
Graduate Students
- You’re a graduate student if you’re working toward a master’s, doctorate, credential or certificate.
- You have until the end of Week 3, or Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, to drop one or more classes online.
- After Sept. 12, you must request formal approval to withdraw, including medical withdrawals, using the “Late Change in Academic Schedule” form at Graduate Evaluations: Forms.
- No other dates have changed.
Undergraduate Students
- You’re an undergraduate student if you’re working toward a first or second bachelor’s degree.
- You continue to have until the end of Week 4, or Sunday, Sept. 21, to drop one or more classes online.
- After Sept. 21, you must request formal approval to withdraw or change the basis of grading. Visit Student Forms: Late Change in Academic Schedule for Undergraduate and Second Bachelor’s Students.
- No dates have changed.
All Students
- The deadline to ADD classes online has not changed.
