Last Day for Business, Fall 2026

Please take care of any pending student business by 4:45 p.m. today, Dec. 23, 2026, because the CSUN campus will likely be closed tomorrow, Dec. 24.

Fall 2026 Grades

• Professors’ grades are due no later than Dec. 23.
• All your grades should now be available in the CSUN Portal.
• Official fall 2026 transcripts will be available after end-of-term processing is completed, probably in early January 2027. Visit Order Transcripts for details.

Grades of Incomplete

The last official day of the semester is usually the deadline for students who received a grade of Incomplete in the like term of the previous calendar year to submit coursework, complete the class and earn a grade.

• For example, students who received a grade of Incomplete in a fall 2025 course must usually complete the required coursework no later than the last day of the fall 2026 semester.
• If you need more time to complete the coursework, you must file the Request for Extension of Time to Remove an Incomplete (PDF) before close of business on Dec. 23, 2026.*

If you have applied to graduate and you miss the deadline or do not intend to complete the remaining coursework to remove the Incomplete grade, notify Undergraduate Degree Services or Graduate Evaluations as soon as possible.

*Note: The CSUN campus will probably be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24. Please plan ahead accordingly.
