Repeating Courses Permitted, Summer 2026
April 1
Beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2026, matriculated* CSUN students may repeat courses previously taken at CSUN for the purposes of grade forgiveness (undergraduates only) or GPA improvement.
- Repeating courses is possible only when Nonrestrictive Registration begins.
- You may enroll in a repeated course through the end of the Late Registration period for each summer session. For exact dates, visit the Summer Term 2026 Registration Calendar.
Before repeating a class, it’s wise to check with your academic advisor to make sure it’s the right move.
