CSUN Cinematheque’s Spring 2025 series “Sacred and Profane: The Surreal Cinema of Luìs Buñuel” presents a free screening of Criminal Life of Archibaldo de la Cruz (1955), a Mexican crime comedy following a hapless would-be serial killer whose intended victims keep dying before he can murder them. Cinematheque screenings are held Wednesdays weekly at the Armer Screening Room in Manzanita Hall, and admission is free to all, no RSVP required.
