Seya Lumeya serves as the Director of Climate and Culture at California State University, Chico, where he leads conflict resolution training for campus leadership and facilitates climate assessments to foster a safer and more inclusive university environment. With over a decade of experience in restorative justice and mediation, Seya has held roles such as Director of Adaptive Dispute Resolution at Fresno Pacific University and Mediation Juvenile Court Director at the Community Justice Center.
In addition to his leadership positions, Seya has been an Adjunct Professor at Fresno Pacific University since 2019, teaching courses on Restorative Justice and Mediation. His expertise in conflict transformation and restorative processes has helped advance community safety and shared responsibility through evidence-based practices and collaborative solutions.
Seya brings a wealth of experience to the field, having dedicated his career to promoting healing, accountability, and cultural transformation in both academic and community settings.
