ChatGPT for Teaching & Research

February 23 at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

A professor lecturing to a class on AI and research.

Hosted by Dr. Deone Zell

ChatGPT is a flexible AI assistant that can act as a teaching partner, research collaborator, and productivity tool. This session will demonstrate how to design interactive assignments, create simulations, and generate customized study materials for students, while also supporting literature reviews, drafting, and peer review simulations. You’ll also see advanced features like agent mode, multimodal inputs, and custom personas, which allow faculty to automate tasks and tailor ChatGPT to their teaching style. By the end, participants will know how to integrate ChatGPT responsibly and effectively into both classroom and scholarly work.
