BEING MICHELLE a Film Screening and Panel Discussion
The Minor in Disability Studies is pleased to announce a screening of the film BEING MICHELLE followed by a panel discussion and reception. This widely celebrated and award-winning film follows the journey of a Deaf woman with autism who survived incarceration and abuse in a system that refused to accommodate her needs. The screening and panel discussion that follow will underscore the importance of Deaf/disability justice across campus and in our communities. Watch the film and enjoy the talkback!
