The Religious Studies Department Celebrates its 2024 Graduates
The Religious Studies Department celebrated its graduating seniors during its 2024 Spring Reception on May 1, 2024 in the Thousand Oaks Room of the USU. Students from the Religious Studies capstone class presented their original ethnographic research exploring the role of religion in Southern California in an era when religion is in decline among certain groups of Americans. Three graduating seniors, Sana Khalifeh, Pamela Porcaro, and Jose Ramirez were honored with the Svec Memorial Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions and dedication to the Religious Studies Department. We congratulate these students and all of our recent graduates.
