Summer Session 3 Classes Begin, 2026
July 8
Classes for Summer Session 3 (second six weeks) begin Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
- Wait-listing continues through the first Sunday, July 12, 11:59 p.m.
- Beginning Monday, July 13, add classes online with a permission number from the instructor or department offering the course.
- The last day to drop a class online is Friday, July 17.
- The last day to add with permission is Friday, July 31.
- The last day of Session 3 classes and the entire summer terms is Aug. 18.
Final exams in summer are scheduled for the last class meeting. Please check with your professor.

Payment Information
- Most CSUN students: Be sure to pay state-support summer tuition and other fees by the state summer payment due dates.
- Visiting students: Refer to Tseng College (extension self support) Open University course fees. Payment is due within 72 hours of enrolling in a class through the Tseng College.
