Registration-by-Appointment Begins, Spring 2027

Get Ready to Enroll!

Registration-by-Appointment for spring 2027 classes begins Monday, Nov. 9, 2026. Unfortunately, your enrollment appointment is not negotiable; it’s based on the number of units you’ve completed, your class level and other factors.

• You may enroll starting with your enrollment appointment date and time and after.
• You may repeat classes previously taken at CSUN starting with your enrollment appointment.
• Registration-by-Appointment ends Friday, Dec. 11.
• After Dec. 11, no appointment is required to enroll.

If you haven’t already met with your academic advisor, make an appointment today.

During the Registration-by-Appointment period:

• No permission is required to add classes unless they are restricted. Check for restrictions in “class notes” in Class Search.
• Maximum load for students in good standing: 18 units. Check academic load exceptions.
• You can wait-list for closed classes (maximum of 13 wait-listed units).
