Last Day to Drop, Graduate Students, Fall 2026

Deadline for Graduate Students to Drop Online

Sept. 11, 2026, the third Friday of fall 2026 instruction, is the last day for graduate students to drop classes using online, self-service registration.

Undergraduate and second bachelor’s degree students have until the end of the fourth week of classes to drop online, through Sept. 20. For details, visit Last Day to Drop, Undergraduates, Fall 2026.

Fall 2026 Details

Graduate Students

• You’re a graduate student if you’re working toward a master’s, doctorate, credential or certificate.
• After Sept. 11, you must request formal approval to withdraw, including medical withdrawals, using the “Late Change in Academic Schedule” form at Graduate Evaluations: Forms.
• No other dates have changed.

Undergraduate Students

• You’re an undergraduate student if you’re working toward a first or second bachelor’s degree.
• After Sept. 20, you must request formal approval to withdraw or change the basis of grading. Visit Student Forms: Late Change in Academic Schedule for Undergraduate and Second Bachelor’s Students.
• No dates have changed.
