Join us for an engaging conversation with Valery Augustin, founding principal of DNA A+D, a Los Angeles-based architecture and design firm specializing in residential, commercial, civic, and hospitality projects, as well as exhibition design and urban sustainability research.
With homelessness at the forefront of urban challenges, this discussion will explore how space planning, architecture, and design can play a pivotal role in addressing housing insecurity. Valery Augustin will share insights on innovative and sustainable design solutions that can create dignified, functional, and effective spaces for unhoused individuals.
This event is an opportunity for students, faculty, professionals, and community members to gain a deeper understanding of how thoughtful spatial planning can contribute to real-world solutions for one of today’s most pressing social issues.
