CSUN Symphony Season Opener
Join us on Sunday, September 28 at 3 p.m. in the Soraya Great Hall as the CSUN Symphony launches its new season with a dazzling program of color and energy. The concert features:

  • Danzón No. 2 — Arturo Márquez
  • Concerto in F — George Gershwin, with CSUN faculty pianist Jason Stoll
  • Autumn RecollectionsKyle Simpson (U.S. Premiere, composed by CSUN Music Director of Media Composition)
  • Capriccio Espagnol — Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

This exciting program is a celebration of orchestral brilliance, from Gershwin’s jazz-infused rhythms to the vibrant Spanish flair of Rimsky-Korsakov. It also highlights the artistry of our faculty and the exceptional talent of CSUN’s student musicians. A performance for audiences of all ages, this season opener promises to inspire and delight.
