The second annual CSUN Horn Day will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Shigemi Matsumoto Recital Hall from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
The event will be led by French horn faculty, Dylan Hart and Dr. Annie Bosler.
Activities will include a mass horn choir reading and masterclasses covering warm-ups, high-register playing, and college prep for music.
This event is free and open to players of any level, as well as parents. Registration is requested.
Schedule:
- 1 PM: Let’s Warm Up (Bring Your Horn) | Annie Bosler & Dylan Hart
- 2 PM: High Horn Secrets | Dylan Hart
- 3 PM: Snacks (provided)
- 3:30 PM: Mass Horn Choir Reading (Bring a Folding Stand & Your Horn) | Annie Bosler & Dylan Hart
- 4:30 PM: College Prep for Musicians® Class | Annie Bosler
You are free to come and go to events as you please.
Fun prizes will be provided by Bob Reeves, Conn-Selmer, Hans Hoyer, CSUN Music, Sarah Willis, and Silver Bells Music!
