Antigone: In the Language of Kings

The Department of Modern and Classical languages and Literatures and the Classics Section will be hosting a special performance of the play Antigone at the Getty Villa in Malibu. Set in the vibrant world of pre-conquest Tenochtitlan, Mexico, this powerful reimagining of a classic tragedy confronts themes of loyalty, familial duty, and the clash between divine law and state edict, bringing Aztec mythology to life in a rich historical tapestry.
This event will be the first meeting of the newly chartered CSUN Languages and Cultures Alumni Chapter.
