29th annual CSUNPosium

April 4

29 ANNUAL RESEARCH & CREATIVE WORKS SYMPOSIUM

The student abstract submission for the 29th annual CSUNPosium is coming up! The CSUNPosium is CSUN’s annual student conference for student research and creative works. The CSUNPosium welcomes student (undergraduate and graduate) submissions for oral presentations (3 minute or 10 minute) or posters. Please spread the word to interested students!

Some key details for this year’s CSUNPosium:

  1. The student abstract submission deadline is Jan. 31 at noon. Abstracts must be no longer than 1,000 characters (about 150 words).
  2. Each student submission requires subsequent faculty advisor approval, which is due on Feb. 3, by 5pm.
  3. The event will be held in-person on April 4, at the University Student Union.
  4. Awards and prizes are given in various categories.
  5. The highest-rated presentations will be invited to the annual state-wide CSU student research showcase, which will happen on April 25-26 at Cal Poly Humboldt.

The CSUNPosium is a great way for students to develop presentation skills as well as their professional/academic portfolio. For further details, please see the attached flyer as well as CSUNPosium webpage:

Please feel free to direct any questions to David Medeiros (Linguistics/TESL), the CSUNPosium liaison to the College of Humanities. Thank you!
