Honors Showcasing Leadership and Impact
In addition to scholarly achievements, faculty and student organizations have earned prestigious accolades. These include:
- Farshad Ghodoosi received the Early Career Achievement Award from the Academy of Legal Studies in Business, recognizing outstanding promise in research, teaching and service.
- Nazarian College’s Beta Gamma Sigma chapter earned Highest Honors status—the top distinction for BGS chapters—under the leadership of faculty advisor Valerie Flugge.
- Beta Alpha Psi achieved Gold Chapter recognition for the 2024-2025 academic year under the leadership of faculty advisor Donny Wang, placing it among the top-performing chapters internationally.
- Several faculty and staff received recognition from the CSUN Provost, Dr. Meera Komarraju, for having a significant impact on student education, according to CSUN’s Annual Survey of Graduating Seniors. This includes the following:
