CJS Graduating Classes of 2018 to 2023

The department of Criminology and Justice Studies proudly congratulates every CJS student that completes their degree with us. Every year our numbers grow and we look forward to seeing our students’ success being recognized as they walk across stage.

  • The graduating class of 2018 was our first graduating class and witnessed 82 Criminology and Justice Studies walked across stage after the establishment of our department in Fall 2017.
  • In the class of 2019, 289 Criminology and Justice Studies students graduated!
  • In the class of 2020, our department congratulated 354 students despite the sudden shift to learning remotely due to the Coronavirus lockdowns. 
  • In the class of 2021, 339 Criminology and Justice Studies students graduated! 
  • In the class of 2022, 492 Criminology and Justice Studies students graduated (our biggest graduating class to date!)
  • In the class of 2023, 482 Criminology and Justice Studies students graduated!

Note: these numbers reflect students who manually changed their major from Sociology Option 2: Criminal Justice to Criminology and Justice Studies.
