Last Day to Apply for Bachelor’s Degree, Spring & Summer 2026

Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, is the last day to apply “on time” to graduate with the Bachelor’s Degree in spring and summer 2026. Applying after Sept. 19 requires a $10 late fee.
Most majors can apply online through the CSUN Portal and the SOLAR Student Center. For help, see the Online Graduation Application Guide.
Apply for Bachelor’s Degree & Diploma
Undergraduate students may apply to graduate for the spring, summer or fall terms. As soon as you complete 90 units including units in progress, you will receive an email from Undergraduate Degree Services that you are eligible to apply to graduate. Contact your academic advisor to review completed and incomplete degree requirements.
Spring & Summer 2026 Graduation Due Dates*
The following two due dates are shared for both spring or summer 2026 graduation:
- Sept. 19, 2025 – Last day to apply for spring or summer 2026 graduation without a late fee. Applying after this date, whether online or on paper, will require a $10.00 late fee. Helpful: Online Graduation Application Guide
- March 6, 2026 – Last day to apply for spring or summer graduation in order to participate in the 2026 Commencement Ceremony and have your name published in the program.
Document Deadlines
The deadlines to submit documents and confirm awarding of the Bachelor’s Degree differ for spring and summer:
- July 24, 2026 – Last day to submit documents and confirm awarding of Bachelor’s Degree for SPRING 2026 graduation.
- Oct. 2, 2026 – Last day to submit documents and confirm awarding of Bachelor’s Degree for SUMMER 2026 graduation.
* The Office of Undergraduate Degree Services closes at 4:00 p.m. Please arrive by 3:45 p.m.
